Saudi Arabia’s National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) has launched an interactive cybersecurity awareness exhibition at ROSHN Front in Riyadh, as part of its sixth National Cybersecurity Awareness Campaign aimed at helping the public recognise digital threats and adopt safer online practices.
Table Of Content
The exhibition is designed to engage different segments of society through interactive activities, educational displays and practical guidance on protecting personal information and navigating cyberspace securely. It also highlights the importance of cybersecurity to national security and the Kingdom’s wider digital environment.
Sponsored by the Saudi Information Technology Company (SITE) and organised in cooperation with ROSHN Group, the initiative brings together public and nonprofit participants to promote awareness of cyber risks and encourage responsible digital behaviour.
Interactive activities explain online security
The exhibition features dedicated pavilions introducing visitors to core cybersecurity concepts and explaining their significance for individuals, organisations and the country as a whole.
Through interactive experiences, visitors can learn about behaviours that help reduce exposure to evolving cyber threats. The displays also provide guidance on recommended security practices and ways to improve awareness when using digital services.
The programme is intended to make cybersecurity information accessible to a broad audience rather than limiting it to technical specialists. By presenting information in an engaging format, the organisers aim to help visitors understand the risks associated with online activity and the steps they can take to protect themselves.
The exhibition also addresses additional topics related to cybersecurity in Saudi Arabia, supporting the campaign’s broader objective of building a stronger culture of digital safety.
Nonprofit groups support community awareness
Two nonprofit organisations are participating in the exhibition: the Information Security Association, known as Hemaya, and the Cybersecurity for Children Association, known as CyberKids.
Their involvement reflects the role of community organisations in expanding cybersecurity education beyond workplaces and technical institutions. Their participation also supports efforts to make online safety awareness relevant to different age groups and sections of society.
Cybersecurity awareness initiatives can help people recognise suspicious messages, understand the importance of protecting account credentials and adopt safer habits when accessing online platforms. For children and families, awareness can also encourage more informed and responsible use of digital services.
The exhibition’s mix of institutional participation and public-facing activities is intended to reinforce the message that cybersecurity requires awareness and responsible behaviour across society.
National campaign advances digital safety
The National Cybersecurity Awareness Campaign is one of the NCA’s strategic initiatives to strengthen public understanding of cybersecurity across the Kingdom.
Its objectives include encouraging safer online practices, reinforcing the relationship between cybersecurity and national security, and improving cooperation among national entities involved in awareness programmes.
The campaign also seeks to create a more integrated approach to cybersecurity education by bringing participating organisations together around shared awareness goals. This cooperation is intended to broaden the reach of public education and promote consistent messages about online safety.
As Saudi Arabia continues to expand its digital services, public awareness remains an important component of protecting users and organisations from cyber risks. Educational initiatives can complement technical safeguards by helping individuals make informed decisions, identify potential threats and respond more carefully to suspicious online activity.
The exhibition at ROSHN Front provides a public platform for these efforts through practical learning and community engagement. The announcement did not specify the exhibition’s closing date, expected visitor numbers or details of additional events planned under the sixth campaign edition.
