Air travel across the United Arab Emirates faced continued adjustments on November 1 as major international carriers updated their operational schedules. While local hubs gear up for an influx of seasonal winter tourism, ongoing regional airspace restrictions have forced several European airlines to delay their anticipated return to Dubai.
German carrier Lufthansa, along with Eurowings and SWISS, announced further delays to their Dubai route resumptions, pushing operational dates further into the winter season. Concurrently, Singapore Airlines extended the suspension of select daily services through early 2027, citing broader Middle Eastern geopolitical developments and security considerations.
Despite extended international suspensions, domestic and regional operations at Dubai International (DXB) and Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi recorded a mix of localized cancellations and brief flight delays. Regional routes servicing Saudi Arabian cities, including Riyadh and Dammam, experienced selective schedule modifications, while long-haul Asian and European departures registered minor timetable realignments. Civil aviation authorities recommend that passengers confirm their departure statuses directly with operating carriers before traveling to UAE terminals.
